Ms. 238-244 yılları arasında imparator olan III.Gordianus döneminde Adana’da basılmış olan sikkenin arka yüzünde ,ortada şehrin kendisini temsil eden Kule Taçlı Şehrin Tanrıçası ve etrafında da Zodiak sembolleri resmedilmiştir. O dönemde evrenin on iki zodiak sembolü ile ifade edilen yıldızlar kümesinden ibaret olduğuna inanılıyordu.Bu durumda Zodiak halkasının tam ortasına yerleştirilen Şehir Tanrıçası kompozisyonu o şehri bilinen evrenin ortasında ,evrenin merkezi olarak tasvir etmekteydi .
